Sunday Worship Services
What to Expect
*Each week we meet on the first day of the week (Sunday), Acts 20:7, as the first Century Christians did. We strive to follow their example.
*We pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Prayer is our avenue of communication with our Lord. Prayer allows us to bring our concerns, our needs, our confessions, our thanks, and our praise before God.
*A cappella congregational singing. Ephesians 5:19-20.
*Lord’s Supper or Communion. 1 Corinthians 11:23-29. As the early church did, we also observe each week, this spiritual reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice on behalf of all mankind.
*We hear God’s word proclaimed. Romans 10:17.
*Fellowship is a big part of our meetings. Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:25. As God’s family we are interested in the lives, interest, needs, goals, and the future of our Christian family. God desires that Christians spend time together.
Join us in worship and praise of the living God each and every Sunday. We welcome visitors and are prepared to help you find the answers to your spiritual questions.
Our Mission
We are striving to lift up the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ and share him with all people. We follow the Bible as our only source of authority, and we are seeking to restore New Testament Christianity in the twenty-first century. We have been commissioned by Jesus Christ to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19. We believe that our mission is to address some very important basic human needs such as:
*The need to know and have fellowship with God and His Son Jesus Christ, and to be led by the Holy Spirit.
*The very basic need for worship, assembling together as a body of believers to praise God and thank Him for all our blessings.
*The need to be involved and active in service, providing a platform where our talents and other resources can be used in reaching out to one another and others in the community.
*The need for fellowship, where we discover the entire gamut of Christian friendship, support, and spiritual nourishment
